Terms and Conditions

Welcome to eGO – an eco-friendly, inclusive, and technology-enabled mobility platform. The following Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of our mobile application (“App”), website, and services (“Platform”) operated by Gajj Chakey Rides Private Limited (referred to as “eGO”, “we”, “us”, or “our”).

Please read these Terms carefully before using the platform. By registering, accessing, or using any part of the services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

 

Definitions

  • “User” or “You” refers to any person who accesses or uses the eGO platform, whether as a rider, driver-partner, or visitor.
  • “Driver-Partner” refers to individuals who have registered with eGO to provide mobility or freight services using electric vehicles.
  • “Vehicle” refers to eligible electric, petrol, or CNG-based rickshaws, autos, or carriers (excluding diesel vehicles).
  • “Ride” refers to the transportation service rendered by the Driver-Partner to the User through the eGO platform.

Eligibility

To use the platform, you must:

  • Be at least 18 years of age;
  • Possess the legal authority to enter into a binding agreement;
  • Not previously suspended or removed from using our services.
  • It should be fit for the ecosystem or the environment. 

Driver-Partners must hold valid driving licenses, vehicle registrations, and other necessary documents as required by applicable law.

 

Scope of Services

eGO offers on-demand and scheduled transportation and logistics services through electric and low-emission vehicles such as e-rickshaws, e-autos, and e-carriers. The platform enables users to:

  • Book rides for personal or commercial transportation;
  • Schedule freight services using electric carriers.
  • Access real-time tracking, fare estimation, and secure digital payments.

Eco-Policy

As part of our commitment to sustainable mobility, eGO does not support the registration or usage of diesel-driven vehicles. All vehicles operating on our platform must comply with our eco-standards (Electric, Petrol, CNG, etc, but not Diesel).

Users are encouraged to participate in and promote green mobility practices. Violations or misuse of the platform in ways that go against our environmental objectives may lead to suspension or account termination.

 

Women Empowerment Commitment

eGO is proudly committed to fostering equality and economic empowerment by supporting women driver-partners across India.

  • eGO provides a safe, professional, and dignified environment for women to join and thrive as driver-partners.
  • We actively onboard and promote women-led transport options such as pink autos, especially in urban areas, ensuring comfort, safety, and trust for female passengers.
  • Any behaviour that threatens the safety or dignity of our women drivers will lead to strict disciplinary actions, including immediate account suspension and reporting to law enforcement agencies when applicable.

We reserve the right to prioritise or feature female drivers in select zones or categories to encourage inclusivity.

 

User Responsibilities

By using the eGO platform, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate and complete registration information.
  • Maintain the confidentiality of your login credentials.
  • Comply with applicable traffic, safety, and civic laws during your ride.
  • Respect all drivers, especially in line with our values of inclusivity, safety, and mutual dignity.
  • Do not misuse, reverse-engineer, or tamper with the platform’s features, ride-tracking systems, or fare mechanisms.

Driver Responsibilities

Drivers must:

  • Maintain their vehicle in roadworthy condition at all times.
  • Drive responsibly and by the traffic rules.
  • Treat all riders with courtesy and ensure their safety and comfort.
  • Accept only eco-compliant vehicles (Electric, Petrol, or CNG).
  • Abide by our Women’s Safety and Empowerment Guidelines, especially during mixed-gender or solo female passenger rides.

 

Carrier Arrangement

  • The company shall be solely responsible for arranging and providing the carrier/fleet for the transportation of goods.
  • The company shall not be held liable for any damage, loss, or theft of goods once they have been dispatched. It is the responsibility of the client to inspect the goods before and after delivery.
  • To ensure product safety, a representative from both the company (driver) and the receiving party (shopkeeper or individual) must be present at the time of loading the product, handing over the goods to the driver, delivery, unloading, and just the it is being done without the application, as we only reduce the stress to find a crrier for a custumer and customers for a carrier.
  • All transportation and fleet services will be provided exclusively by the company. No third-party carriers shall be used unless explicitly agreed upon in writing.
  • While the company strives to adhere to delivery timelines, delays caused due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g., traffic, weather, mechanical issues) shall not be considered a breach of terms.
  • It is the client’s responsibility to arrange insurance coverage for the goods, if desired. The company does not provide insurance for products in transit unless specifically requested and agreed upon.
  • The recipient must sign the delivery receipt upon receiving the goods. Any discrepancies must be reported immediately and noted on the delivery receipt.

 

Fares and Payments

  • Fares are determined by a dynamic pricing model based on distance, vehicle type, traffic, and local demand.
  • All payments must be made through approved digital payment methods unless otherwise specified.
  • Users will receive digital invoices post-ride for transparency and record-keeping.

Cancellation Policy

  • Users and drivers are allowed to cancel rides under reasonable circumstances.
  • Excessive or unjustified cancellations may result in a temporary suspension or deactivation.
  • In certain cases, a nominal cancellation fee may apply.
  • Refunds, as per the terms and conditions, vary with the circumstances and timing of bonds, during booking the rides, and with the cancellation of the rides. 

 

Limitation of Liability

eGO acts only as a technology intermediary between users and driver-partners. We are not liable for:

  • Delays or service disruptions beyond our control;
  • Personal belongings left in the vehicle.
  • Any misconduct or negligence by users or driver-partners. However, we encourage the timely reporting of all such incidents, and appropriate action will be taken.

 

Termination

eGO reserves the right to suspend or terminate access to the platform for violations of these Terms or any conduct deemed inappropriate, unsafe, unfit or harmful to the community, environment, ecosystem,  society or platform reputation.

 

Data Privacy

All user data is handled by our Privacy Policy, which outlines how we collect, use, store, and share personal information. By using the platform, you consent to these practices.

 

Dispute Resolution

All disputes arising under or related to these Terms shall be governed by the laws of India. In the event of a dispute, parties agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts located in [Insert City, e.g., New Delhi].

 

Modifications

eGO reserves the right to amend these Terms at any time. Continued use of the platform post-updates shall constitute acceptance of the revised Terms.

Payment Gateway Pricing

We use Cashfree Payments as our payment gateway provider. The applicable fees for payment processing are as follows:

 

Price Structure 

A. For Rikshaws 

Rs 15/Km non metro city + other Operational costs
Rs 15/km metro city + other costs

B. Auto carriers 

Rs 20/Km + other costs non metro 
Rs 24/Km + other Operational  costs metro city

Rest All will go to driver account

Minimum booking charges would be 50 for E-Rikshaws 

Minimum booking charges would be 75 for E-carriers 

C. Domestic Transactions:

Credit Cards / Debit Cards / Net Banking: Starting at 1.75% per transaction

UPI & Wallets: 0% – 1.10%, depending on the transaction volume and method

D. International Transactions (if enabled):

Cards (Visa/MasterCard/Amex): 3.5% + ₹7 per transaction

Settlement Time: T+1 working day (standard)
